Sin is a fact of life! All men lie in sin and die in sin. Sin takes many shapes and appears in many forms. Sin’s strength is in its subtlety. It lures us and allures us with the promise of pleasure beyond measure but simply usurps all our God given treasure! Sin leaves us as paupers in the end. People argue against sin, try to down play it and totally deny its existence by giving alternative reasoning but it is sheer waste of time! God declared that all have sinned and that’s the truth! Sin closes our eyes to reality, corrupts our mind to sensibility and captivates our heart to carnality! Sin is missing the mark. Sin is disobedience to God. Sin is a violation of purpose. Sin is powerful in its domination and successful in its damnation of men’s souls! Only the Lord Jesus Christ can deliver men and women from sin’s earthly domination and eternal damnation! He is our only refuge, He is our only redeemer. Sin was crushed to death upon the body of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross and He rose again as the eternal conqueror! Sin has no dominion over those that are living under the Lordship of Jesus Christ. Who is reigning in your life? Sin or the Saviour?
