Bro. P. Upender is the founder director of Victory Bible Ministries. He was born to Hindu parents in the city of Hyderabad in India. While searching for truth and meaning in life he spent his youth in restlessness and the fear of death tormented him relentlessly. Through a miraculous encounter with the Lord Jesus Christ in October 1989, his life took a new turn. Lord Jesus woke him up from his sleep early in the morning at 4 am and told him clearly, “Upender, get up and read the Bible.”

Then a series of events took place in the following months as per the plan of God and on 13th April 1990, which was Good Friday, he accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal Saviour and Lord. The truth from God’s word touched him deeply and transformed his life. Then in 1991 God called him to ministry through 2 Timothy 4:5 to do the work of an Evangelist. He became an itinerant Evangelist and preacher of the Word by calling. His vision and passion is to minister the pure word of God to all people. He preaches and writes uncompromisingly and with great conviction.

He along with his family lived abroad and returned to India to serve the Lord in his own country. He started Victory Bible Ministries in the year 2000. God opened doors for him to preach the word in India and abroad. He was the founding editor of a Telugu bi-monthly magazine and published 3 books in Telugu and 2 books in English till date. The ministry has been very fruitful so far by God’s grace. Bro. P. Upender and his wife Nandini have two daughters, Rebekah Spandana and Rachel Sneha. They live in Secunderabad, India.
